Hope’s House

REMINDER: Hope's House serves lunch, distributes supplies and mail, has computers available to seek jobs, employment, housing and Govt. benefits, and brochures/applications for various support resources in the community for those in need. We currently open on Monday's and Tuesday's from 10:30-12:30, and on Tuesday's we have a volunteer available to help Guests in need of assistance with surfing the Net. Our outdoor Self-Serve Coffee Bar starts at 9:40, and now that the weather is nice (most days ) we have cards and board games for our Guests to play, and books they can check out or read during their visit. We're working on resuming outside resources (ie a Assurance Wireless Rep) to provide services to our Guests and will keep you posted when these services will start.

The five downtown (Rome) United Methodist Churches are holding a drive through food pantry this Saturday, April 3, 2021. They have several thousand pounds of food from the Atlanta Food Bank and would love to get it into the hands of families who need it. The drive is Saturday, April 3, 2021 from 9 AM -12 PM outside of Metropolitan UMC at 700 Broad Street, Rome, GA 30161.
