Hope Springs Farm

Another evening feed time lamb. This one on the 15th. Just missed seeing the entrance. Lavender is a first time mom and gave us a nice big ewe lamb! That tan color is fairly common among Dread Pirate’s offspring. She will likely keep some color in her face and legs, but her wool will be cream or off white.

Lady Luck, also a daughter of my first badger face ewe, is a badger face. She gave us two black ram lambs and the second one looks to have nice wool.

At feed time on the 14th there were two sets of twins waiting for us. This is Tonks with her two ewe lambs, one black and one white. Tonks is a daughter of my first badger face ewe so she carries color, and she makes beautiful lambs.

Also at the last check on the 13th, not more than about 12 feet away from Lydia, Elora Danon had a mixed set of twins. Elora’s lambs are not the biggest, but they are very pretty. She also cooperated and jugged easily. All in all a good night!

Last check for the night on the 13th found Lydia with a fine jig ram lamb. He was already up and nursing and she followed him right into the jug. I really appreciate a cooperative ewe late at night!
