Despite a few technical glitches that delayed our start, the music flowed! The energy was palpable. Greetings HITP Family, The world has undergone an incredible shift since we last gathered in Grant Park, but we pray each of you is thriving. Like many other event organizers, Kai, Kemit, Salah, and I have been watching intently as leaders in science and government continue to provide the latest projections concerning the Covid-19 pandemic.... It will not come as a surprise to many that we have decided not to proceed as usual with this year’s House in the Park 16. Our partners at The Atlanta Weekender have decided not proceed this year as well. The health and safety of each of you is first and foremost. With the information we have today, we do not believe that we can effectively bring you the HITP experience you have come to know and love. Please continue to follow us on social media for the latest information on how we plan to celebrate physically distant, but socially together. Technology is keeping us connected, and we hope to reunite virtually on our regular day, the Sunday before Labor Day. As always, the HITP team continues to give thanks for the support of the Grant Park Conservancy, Grant Park Neighborhood Association, Atlanta City Council, the Atlanta Department of Parks and Recreation and YOU.
