Day 5 Week of Prayer for HBA Pray for the local ministries of our association. We have a backpack ministry to our schools that provides food for children to take home on the weekend. This food is given to children who come from homes that are not able to provide a substantial amount of food for the children. Pray for the churches that are involved in this ministry during the school year: FBC Unadilla, Northern Heights, Penia, Wenona, and First Baptist Cordele. Pray that God will use this ministry to not only help feed the children, but also that those children and families who receive the food will come to know Christ. Please pray that God will also lead our association to be involved in more local outreach ministries in our Counties.

Day 4 Week of Prayer for HBA Pray for the association mission teams as they go out to various mission fields next year. Our Acts 1:8 mission fields include our local area, Clarkston GA, Pittsburgh, PA, and Moldova. We will hopefully be partnering with a church in Bogota, Columbia. Pray that God will raise up the teams as we minister in each of these areas and share the good news of the Gospel.

Day 3 Week of Prayer for HBA Pray for the Ministry teams of the Association. Our ministries teams include Evangelism/Missions, Leadership, Prayer, and Worship and Music. Pray that each team will seek understanding in how to lead our churches in each of these ministry areas so that we can see our Vision Statement fulfilled with 300 people coming to Christ each year as a result of our churches working together.

https://www.baptistpress.com//the-recent-resurgence-of-b/ This is a great article! I concur that the association is relevant and vital to the churches. I believe the Pandemic helped to bring to light the importance of the association and working together to reach our communities. I am thankful to serve our association!!

HELP NEEDED! Our Hispanic Mission Church in Vienna has called a Pastor. He currently will be staying in Tallahassee until the end of the school year because of his Full-time job and his children are in school. He, his wife, and his boys will be coming up to Vienna every weekend for the ministry at the Hispanic Church. We are looking for a place in Dooly County or Crisp County for he and his family to stay each weekend until they are able to move up here. If you know of someone who has a house or and extra place for them to stay while they are here, please let Bro. Gary know. (229 -273-4127) We would like for them to be able to stay as close to Vienna if possible! The church can help with living expenses. Thank You!!
