There's still a whole lotta love to nuzzle out of this ole grey muzzle. Meet Big Bubba! He is a senior male German Shepherd x Labrador Retriever mix! Approximately 9 years old, give or take. Looks like a lab with the tan markings of a German Shepherd.... This loveable guy was surrendered with several other dogs from his owner who unfortunately could no longer care for them. The owner received some very sad news regarding their condition from the hospital and needed help to rehome the dogs. Big Bubba is one of them. Bubba is looking for a soft landing to call his own in someone's home. He has such a wise and old soul look in his eyes. Quiet guy who likes to curl up on his dog bed. Enjoys short walks especially those to the food bowl and back to bed. Bubba has special needs - he is heartworm positive. Dogs with heartworm disease can live happy, high quality lives as long as they are given appropriate care. We think that our heartworm dogs have just as much to offer their new adopters as any other dog and they deserve a chance at life!
