Happy Friday! MARTA Planning has launched a new page, I-20 East Transit Oriented Development, to provide updates about the I-20 East Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Strategic Plan. MARTA and DeKalb County are partnering to conduct the Strategic Plan. Funded by a grant from the Federal Transit Administration and contributions from MARTA and DeKalb County, the project kicked off this summer and is anticipated to wrap up in winter 2018. The purpose of the I-20 East TOD Stra...tegic Plan is to create a blueprint for transit supportive development around proposed transit station sites along the I-20 East corridor from Indian Creek Station to the Mall at Stonecrest. Want more information about TOD? Check out the "I-20 Transit Oriented Development Strategic Plan" section at https://www.itsmarta.com/i20-east-corridor-overview.aspx to learn more about TOD in general, and key components of the I-20 East TOD Strategic Plan.
