I Am One

*ALERT* It's long.. I want to strive to be more Christ like everyday. Don't you? I was super torn in a situation and I tell you, I'd been praying over it for weeks. "Lord , please help me reach this broken person. I've never been homeless but I've been all the thing's. I could have ended up homeless or probably should have. God showed up in the biggest way I pulled into McDonald's parking lot , parked to go in because the line was so long to go in to get coffee. ... I know now that was a Devine appointment that God had planned. What should have been a 5 minute coffee stop turned into several hours of spreading hope. One phone call led to another and then 2 or 3 more. When you've walked in the misery of addiction you'd maybe understand it takes a tribe of course but only one person to have the faith. That if I can "they can too!" If you'll notice that's plural. Hope was so alive. Not only did these people get shelter for the night but also the very next day both people went to a Christian based rehabilitation center. I AM ONE MINISTRIES made all of this happen for these people. My heart was so full. Grown children minds were at peace knowing their parent finally took hold of the rock at the bottom. God worked in a mighty way. Putting others first is one of the hardest things for us to do especially when we've been let down time and time again. God helped me seek putting others first even though... He softened my heart long enough to actually make a difference. I do not take my character for granted today because it only takes one person. I want more than anything to be so pleasing to God. If the change that's taken place in my life can happen , you best believe it can for broken people that just don't see they could ever measure up. Because YES they can. Stones are cast so quickly, What if : just maybe . You poured into someone that you absolutely did NOT want to pour into and you changed the entire existence of that soul, because God told you too. How beautiful is that? You may get disappointed, you may get hurt. But what if.. what if you didn't?
