IBEW 1316 is seeking skilled electricians for immediate openings with an electrical contractor at Irving Tissue. Five or more years of documented experience is required. Health insurance and pension are paid by the employer!

John says that two of the things he likes most about 1316 are the organization and the pride the members have for the IBEW. In his free time John enjoys racing, playing and watching football, and cooking! Please join us in welcoming him to the brotherhood!

Austin joined IBEW 1316 because he wants to learn a good trade, and says that he most appreciates how helpful our Director, Richard Hinson, has been during his process of joining! In his free time, Austin enjoys hunting, fishing, and visiting the gun range.

Time for another #MemberMonday! This week we are highlighting McKel Judge! McKel just recently joined our brotherhood, but he already appreciates the way we take care of our family and make him feel as though he is a part of something. In his free time, McKel enjoys basketball, 4-wheelers, dirt bikes, and classic cars!

We are back with another #MemberMonday after taking a break to observe the labor day holiday last week! Today we are spotlighting Brandon Darrell Grimes who is one of our members that will begin his apprenticeship program next September! Brandon says he joined us at Local 1316 because he wanted "to better himself, join his family in a great career, learn a trade, make his family proud, and set himself up for the future." The things he likes most about being a member is being able to get both hands-on and classroom learning and that everyone helps along the way! In his free time, Brandon enjoys hunting, fishing, and working with his dad!

For working people and union members, Labor Day stands for something special and profound. It's a date to honor the deep commitment each of us has to serve our children, families, and the communities we love. Happy Labor Day, Brothers and Sisters!
