Our inspiration for founding Ganesh Academy of Indian Arts ... the marvelous, astounding, incredibly deep work of my Guruji, Sri Surendra Nath Jena, into book form and English translation so that we all may enjoy and appreciate the works of art he left as his legacy. Grandson of the legendary Pandit Chatur Lal, in my favorite selection of tabla solo bols that I have seen online thus far! I LOVE the PURE traditional classicism demonstrated here. And he plays with such humility, devotion, and enjoyment. What could be better?
