Hey y’all!! It’s my birthday today and I got my first vaccine shot yesterday!! Yay Our little two-person team is half way vaccinated now since we’ve both gotten our first shot. 2nd shots in April and things are feeling so much better!!! Please make a plan for getting your vaccine if you haven’t already. We have some outdoor events in the works and will post more next week. We missssssss you!!!!!!

Ready for 2021??? What are your biggest goals this year? I’ll be honest, I’m a bit scared to set any goals because it appears I have way less control over my life than I thought I had I’m still setting them though ... because I can’t help myself!!!

Our final project of 2020 was a crafty-end-of-the-year-Zoom party with @purposepossible !! We created kits for their whole team and hosted a wreath-making workshop with them. It was so much fun to craft with everyone!! Thank you for having us Purpose Possible 2020 was crazy! Thank you for joining us. We love you and can’t wait to see you sometime next year. 2020 continued! For the holidays we teamed up with 20 artists to create Holiday Happiness Sparkleboxes. We had 13 different boxes that people could purchase online and then we shipped directly to their loved ones. We were so happy to create these boxes as an option for handcrafted holiday shopping .... plus, look at that amazing graphic by @rachel.eleanor.art !!! We also created Atlanta, (Blue) GA Pencils, Pandemic Pencils, and craft kits for kids!! 2020 continued ... When I heard that Atlanta Public Schools students were getting the tiniest, most minimal kit of art supplies to use during virtual learning, I literally lost sleep over it. I woke up in the middle of the night several times really stressed about the idea of kids not having access to supplies while going through this very strange time of learning from home. Art making can be so cathartic and assists with other learning. So we started a fundraiser to pay for ...additional art supplies at my neighborhood school. @burgesspeterson is a Title 1 public school serving the neighborhoods of East Atlanta and Reynoldstown. Approximately 70% of the students at BPA are Black, and a large population of students are economically disadvantaged. Our goal was $3,000, which equates to approximately $5/student. This felt like an attainable goal that could have an actual impact. Thanks to all of you we met the goal! And a huge thank you to @beautifulbrinysea who did her own fundraising, which ensured that we surpassed our goal by a really, good bit! Craft tragedy yesterday. My most favorite mug broke. I think I’ve had it for 20 years. It was a gift from a favorite friend @sydneyghamilton in the late 90s/early 2000s. Made by a UGA pottery instructor?? (Is that right, Sydney?) It was the perfect size and weight and I will miss it. My 7 year old knocked it off the table. Total accident so I had to be gracious when he came and told me what happened (then I went in the bathroom and shed a few quick tears! ) #ceramics #handcrafted
