If you have any assets - bank accounts, real estate, retirement accounts, jewelry, or other articles of value, even sentimental value, to be inherited, you must have a will. It is a tremendous disservice to yourself and your heirs not to have one. If you cannot afford to have a lawyer prepare one, write down your wishes on notebook paper and have it notarized, but have something stating your wishes. We do not know the date or the hour. Absolutely ecstatic to see the Motor City - Detroit - on the list! The revitalization of downtown Detroit is unbelievable - buildings that once sat empty for decades are now filled with major companies now headquartered or with offices in the city. The streets are bustling with workers, shoppers, diners, visitors and residents alike, excited about and enjoying Detroit's comeback.
