In the spirit of serving, the youth will be doing an Intown Mission Week this summer in lieu of Epworth by the Sea. This abbreviated week will be morning missional activities in the community and afternoons of fun. Stay tuned for more info. The goal is July 21st-July 23rd. There will be some shade outdoors, so arrive early if your skin is sensitive or you forgot to apply sunscreen. Bring a chair, a mask, your communion elements if you want, and the joy of the Lord.... This Sunday the youth will meet from 6-8 PM in the Church Annex. We will get ready for the Inman Park Garden Tour and our fundraiser. Dinner will be provided. Here is more information about our fundraiser: We will be selling masks at the Inman Park Tour of Gardens! (We might be selling cookies, too.) ... Proceeds, minus the tour fee, will go to Color of Change. They are an online racial justice organization based in California. This is their mission statement: We help people respond effectively to injustice in the world around us. As a national online force driven by 7 million members, we move decision-makers in corporations and government to create a more human and less hostile world for Black people in America. Check them out online to see the good work they’re doing. https://colorofchange.org The youth found and voted for this group to be the recipient of their mask-making funds.

For worship today, our musical reflection will be Kelsey Ebelhar and Chris Maughan as they lead us with "Time after Time" and Taylor will sing "Spirit of the Living God". MARK YOUR CALENDARS! On November 29th we'll be making advent wreaths and singing Christmas carols.

We’re going to do a prerecorded COVID Christmas Pageant this year. Sara has purchased a wonderful script from Illustrated Ministries, Do Not Be Afraid. Imagine The Princess Bride but instead of the grandfather telling his grandson about Westley, Buttercup, and the amazing Inigo Montoya, an adult will tell their child the Christmas story. This is going to be a project and we are going to need your help! If you’re willing to shoot a video at your home (or the church) for t...his and want to be cast in this production, please email me. We have many roles to choose from. And, if you don’t have costumes at home, I can easily provide you with some. There are 12 scenes and each scene only includes one to three people. It’s designed for COVID times and so only needs the members of one family at a time. We will have something amazing at the end of this and it will be a gift to the community for many years. We’ll never forget our COVID Christmas Pageant! Contact Sara if you're interested in helping.
