I'm going to miss it

Well, it's official, the last day of Invictus Forge is tomorrow. My health never recovered, probably because when it began to go down, I never gave myself time ...to get better. I just kept trying to work. If anyone wants to come by tomorrow, please do, I'll be finishing up the last commission. I could use a hand with some clean up, and if you want to bring a bottle, it would be welcome. Any body in the Atlanta area want to buy this metal Scottish flag? It's kinda three dimensional. Obviously needs to be repainted, but it can be disassembled. Make a decent offer.

Need someone with a truck or van to do me a huge favor tomorrow. Ten pounds of lifting, one time. Drop something off, and pick something up. Usually, they'll load it for you.

Long overdue service on my plasma cutter complete, lots of small cuts on my finger tips, and an hour or so of online searches for a specific "exploded view", but it is done. I only had to make one trip to get parts, so all in all, a decent day.

Well, still in the hospital. The area completely refilled to the same capacity in only three days, so I'm having "surgery" on Monday. They are going to drain the fluid, put in a scope to have a look around, then put in a drain of some sort for a few days. I'll be in the hospital until Thursday, at least, while they figure things out. Some good news, is that no cancerous cells were found in the fluid. The bad news, is that the IV antibiotics didn't stop it from happening a...gain, so it's not an infection. In the meantime, I've got cable, which means soccer, and unlimited coffee. Boredom is a problem, so I take little walks around the floor (I've figured out how to unhook myself from everything I am attached to, the nurses love that) to keep my blood flowing. Well damn, Mason has messed up his knee skateboarding, so it's down to just me again. Not what I needed at the moment.

This rain is killing me. I've got two jobs to finish that require me to be outside. Can't weld in the rain, and can't set the other up on my loading dock in the rain. Oh, and still having truck issues. Ugh!
