Peterson is an impressive wide receiver out of Columbia High in Lake City 65 miles west of Jacksonville. The 6-foot-4 prospect is the No. 89-ranked player in the state for the Class of 2022. He is also a multi-dimensional player, as he passed for 637 yards and six touchdowns, rushed for 205 yards and four touchdowns, and added 286 receiving yards and seven touchdown receptions in 2020. He also contributed as the punter.

Talented junior running back Anthony Hankerson ran for 181 yards and three touchdowns as St. Thomas forced five turnovers to defeat Orlando Edgewater 31-21 for its 12th Florida state championship. This is St. Thomas’s fifth title in seven years and ninth since 2007.

Sydney Jackwin, a three-sport athlete, is the reigning FACA Girls Volleyball 2A Player of the Year, holds eight school volleyball records, and also holds two school records in basketball for (21) steals in a game and (180) steals in a season. Jackwin also scored her 1,000th career point on Dec. 18 versus the Northeast Vikings, which put her in an elite group of athletes who have 1,000 career points in basketball and 1,000 career kills in Volleyball. Jackwin is averaging 14.2 points per game, 3.3 assists per game, 9.7 rebounds per game, and 6.7 steals per game. Jackwin will look to continue to push Keswick (5-6) forward this season.
