Let there be light right through the back door and into the kitchen!! Adding a Low E glass upper was a great decision to allow more light into this kitchen! This area just took on a much improved new look! I’d say that was a bright idea! !

Check out this great looking fixture we just installed! Sometimes installations aren’t as simple and straight forward as they should be. This particular install, the light fixture collar was smaller than the hole at the electrical box so we did some drywall patching to make it look great! Paint V. Stain on a deck, check it out!!

Here’s a deck project we’ve been working on. We pressure washed, replaced all of the railings and posts then finished it off with fresh stain, S-W Blue spruce on the decking and extra white on the railings. This deck is looking great with the two tone look. It’s almost complete and ready for spring!!

Here is a couple of before and after pictures of a project we were on today. This property is being renovated and given new life. JMay Services LLC was responsible for opening the porch and updating the look. We demoed the walls and pulled out the old 4x4 posts and replaced them with 6x6 pressure treated posts and new railings. This porch is almost ready for a bottle of wine and good weather!

Over time your shower grout caulk will begin to crack and deteriorate. Grout caulk is found in the corners of your shower and where the shower floor meets the walls. These corners are actually finished with a grout caulk and not grout. Grout caulk allows for expansion and contraction of your shower. As these areas crack it’s good to have the caulking replaced. A common mistake is the use of a silicone caulk which grows mold and doesn’t last and looks terrible. The correct product is a sanded (or no sanded) grout caulk in the correct color to match your existing grout. When talking decks with my customers, I have always shared that keeping a good coat of stain on your deck is your decks first line of defense against the outside elements; Sun, rain, wind, hot and cold weather. Ever wonder about those carpenter bees and how much damage they can do? Well here’s a great example of a 1x8 fascia board that became too damaged from the bees and had to be replaced. This board was buzzing from all the bees inside. If you have a carpenter bee issue it’s good to get ahead of it. Treat it or replace it to protect your investment!

Here’s another recent project we finished. This is a new construction home that we installed the curtains, mirrors in several bathrooms and a few other things. I’ll say that the curtains made the biggest impact on this job and they’re quite elegant!!
