Clay Lawrence, son of Shannon and Carol Lawrence, is the 1st Jackson Trail Christian School FFA member to qualify for the state FFA quiz in the 10 years that Jackson Trail has been a chartered chapter! The FFA quiz consists of 50 multiple choice questions about the history of the FFA and parliamentary procedure. 5 oral questions are also asked. Clay will be 1 of 12 in the state CDE on January 16th at the state FFA camp near Covington! Please join us in congratulating Clay on this amazing achievement!

Students are allowed to wear their costumes to school tomorrow! Nothing scary or demonic and no weapons. The teachers are already pretty super but tomorrow it will be taken to a whole new level!

Operation Christmas Child boxes were sent home today! There are informational packets located inside the box to inform you on what you can and can not pack in these boxes. This is completely optional! If you wish not to participate we just ask that you please return the box to your child's teacher. Want an additional box? We have plenty to spare! If this isn't your first time packing a box can you give any tips or tricks for others? Here's a tip! Did you know that the ite...ms you buy for your box does NOT have to stay in its original packaging?? That's right! We want to put as much as we can inside! Taking an item out of it's packaging can free up some extra space for another item! Do you have any tips? We would LOVE to hear them!

Our JTCS middle school FFA kids have been busy studying tree identification with Mr. Mock! They were champion middle school team at Banks County Tree ID contest with Emma Lawrence 2nd overall, Charis Humby 3rd overall and Carson Ford 4th overall.They have a competition among themselves on Friday for a chance to win prize money!

Tomorrow we start our coat drive! We are asking for help from our community and our JTCS family! Help us while helping others! Starting Monday, October 12th, we will be collecting new and/or gently used coats, gloves, scarves and stocking hats! You are welcome to hand them off in the car rider line or just simply drop them off at our front door! Deadline for this event will be Friday, November 20th!
