Greetings!!! If you received an advance, were denied an advance, or received your 2019 tax refund through Republic Bank, you must complete this form by FRIDAY, in order to have your stimulus check mailed to the correct address: https://taxpayer.republicrefund.com//Taxpayer%20Maintenanc... Unfortunately, based off of the information that we have received, if you received your tax refund from Santa Barbara Bank, they will be mailing your stimulus payment back to the IRS for them to provide you with a check. Jacobs Administrative Services will continue to update you with additional information that we receive, however, we have no way of knowing how they will be processing the stimulus payments based on what year you have completed or how long it will take for you to receive them. Thanks JAS

Greetings!!! We would like to give an update to our wonderful supporters/clients about changes being made by the IRS: * Tax day is no longer April 15, 2020, but is now July 15, 2020. Taxpayers will have until this deadline to file and pay their taxes due with no penalty.... * Stimulus Payments are as follows: - $1,200 for individuals -$2,400 for Married Filing Joint -$500 for Each Qualifying child *Full Payment: AGI up to $75,000 for individuals *Full Payment: AGI up to $150,000 for Married Filing Joint *No payments: AGI greater than $99,000 for individuals *No Payments: AGI greater than $198,000 for Married Joint *If you have not filled a 2019 tax return, the IRS will go by your 2018 tax return, so you need to complete one ASAP if you want to receive the stimulus check this year. *As of now, there will be another stimulus check that can be received when you file your 2020 tax return if you have not completed or will not complete a 2018 or 2019 tax return. *This is a tax-free stimulus payment that will begin to be disbursed between April 4 through April 13 or directly deposited if you have your account number on your 2018 or 2019. *If you did not have an account number attached and you want direct deposit, The IRS is currently working on a portal for taxpayers to enter their information to receive a direct deposit. *If you receive social security or a pension and you did not file a return, the IRS will still be providing citizens with a stimulus check. *Please check back for more updates as we will be posting more information about resources for Small Businesses and Self-Employed individuals in regard to the various loans available to maintain your business during this time. *For more information please check out the following websites as well as message us for additional questions/concerns. https://www.irs.gov//irs-unveils-new-people-first-initiati https://www.irs.gov//economic-impact-payments-what-you-nee

GREAT NEWS!! The Treasury Department of the Internal Revenue Service are providing special tax filing and payment relief to individuals and businesses in response to the COVID-19 Outbreak. The filing deadline for tax returns has been extended from April 15 to July 15, 2020. The IRS urges taxpayers who are owed a refund to file as quickly as possible. For those who can't file by July 15, 2020 deadline, the IRS reminds individual taxpayers that everyone is eligible to requ...est an extension. This filing and payment relief includes: The 2019 income tax filing and payment deadline for all taxpayers who file and pay their Federal Income taxes on April 215, 2020. This relief applies to all individual returns, trusts, and corporations. This relief is automatic, taxpayers do not need to file any additional forms or call the IRS to qualify. The relief also includes estimated tax payment for tax year 2020 that are due on April 16, 2020. Penalties and interest will begin accrue on any remaining unpaid balances as of July 15.2020. You will automatically avoid interest and penalties on the taxes paid by July15. Individual taxpayers who need additional time to file beyond the July 15th deadline can request to file an extension by July 13, 2020. We are accepting all returns via email and fax. As of April 15, 2020 our offices will be closed. We will be returning back to the office on May 2, 2020. Our new hours of operation will be 10 a.m. - 6 p.m, Tuesday - Friday.
