*COVID UPDATE* We at Jac's Bowling Lanes hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday season. With the new year we have began Phase Two of our COVID-19 precautions. We have some exciting things in store that we feel will better protect our patrons while allowing us to better serve a greater number of customers. But due to the work that needs to be done we are temporarily adjusting our hours of operation to allow us time to facilitate these improvements. We will be utilizing the... day time hours to get the the work done and put everything in place, so going forward Jac's Bowling Lanes will be opening to the general public later in the afternoons. Attention customers: We regret to inform you that Jac's Bowling Lanes has made the decision to shut back down for at least the next 14 days. We have received notice that an individual who has since tested positive for COVID-19 has been on the premises in the last week. We feel it is best for the safety of our customers, staff and community that we take no risks and follow CDC recommendations, allowing for at least the full 14 day quarantine period and sanitation of the buildi...ng before we consider reopening. We have no desire to contribute to the possible second wave of COVID-19 cases and will remain steadfast in choosing safety above all else. While we are confident that our adherence to the federal and state guidelines of social distancing, protective wear and disinfection after each customer have limited the possibility of infection to anyone, we do encourage any customers that have visited us during the last seven days to seek testing should they choose. On behalf of our small family business and on behalf of all the Jac's Bowling Lanes staff we sincerely appreciate the support and kindness the community has shown to us during these troubling times. Today is the day! After much deliberation and preparation we are moving on with our first phase of reopening Jac's Bowling Lanes. We've got our face masks and gloves on and are ready to serve you! - During this initial reopening our hours will be Mon-Thurs 12:00PM - 9:30PM and Friday/Saturday 12:00PM - 12:00AM - We will be renting every other pair of lanes in two-hour blocks of time for up to a maximum of eight people. This will ensure proper social distancing. Time spots are... first come, first serve with reservation. Walk-ins during this initial phase are not allowed to ensure proper guideline adherence. We encourage you to pay over the phone to ensure your reservation and have as little interaction as possible with cash. - The pricing structure is $40 for 1-4 people and $60 for 5-8 people for two full hours of bowling. Bowl as much or as little as you like and spread the bowlers across your two lanes how you see fit. Now is the perfect time to test out our huge selection of mini-games built into our scoring system! - At the time of your reservation we will take your shoe sizes and have them waiting for you at your lanes when you arrive. Please have these sizes handy when calling. We have placed a full selection of bowling balls at each pair, ensuring you can find the weight you need without leaving your area. When you are finished with your time, simply leave everything where it is and we will do the rest! We will fully disinfect all areas, touch screens, balls and shoes between each two hour block to ensure the safest possible experience! -Currently the snack bar and gameroom areas are closed. Time Out Sports Bar is closed for entry but drinks can be purchased from the serving window. The drink and snack vending machines will be available as well. Update on Jac's Lanes reopening: We hope this update finds everyone in good health and spirits. As most may know, Georgia has decided to allow certain businesses to reopen beginning this weekend, bowling alleys included. However, after reviewing the business guidelines and listening to the feedback of our customers and community, we believe that it is best for Jac's Lanes to delay our reopening until at least the first part of May. We have come to this decision primarily to ...avoid any potential risks to the safety of our customers and staff. Considering the nature of the sport of bowling and the layout of our facilities we think it is best to allow more time to pass to further understand the implications of businesses opening at this time. We hope our customers will understand our decision and we firmly believe that there is no price tag you can put on the safety of our community who have supported us for over 30 years. We can't wait to get back to business and continue our mission to provide a fun family environment but until then we send our well-wishes to all businesses and individuals battling through this troubling time. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis Jac's Bowling Lanes will be closed to the public through April 6th. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes but we want to do our part in preventing the further spread of this virus. If you have a group or party scheduled in the next two weeks we are glad to reschedule the event or refund any deposits made. Status update on Jac's Bowling Lanes amidst the COVID-19 outbreak: For the time being Jac's Bowling Lanes will remain open to the public for regular business hours. We are strictly following the CDC Interim Guidance for Businesses protocols and are taking extra precautions. Please bear with us as we are sanitizing each area after each session of play, therefore wait times for lanes may be longer than expected. Should conditions worsen or if the CDC recommends shutting down bu...siness we will of course comply and remain closed until such a time as we are given the all clear to reopen.
