We had a great time in our Beginner Dog Obedience Course Week #2 tonight. We reviewed our lessons from last week, introduced phase 2 of our Really Reliable Recall Exercise, staying place and properly meeting and greeting another dog. Thank you Eli, Gus, IZU and your patient handlers for a job well done. Thank you Anita Montgomery for being a great assistant trainer.

I'm excited to announce that our Therapy Dog Teams have been invited to First Presbyterian Dayschool FPD! We will be visiting with the younger students this visit, Pre K through 5th grade. Our timing is perfect, as they are taking their Standardized Tests that week. This will be a Grand reward for the students. Our visit will be Wednesday April 21st from 12:30-2:30. Weather permitting, we will meet outdoors and the children will come to us. Our masks will be required, the stu...dents visiting our dogs have an option. This will be an incredible opportunity to dress our dogs up and Spread a year's worth of Smiles and Joy! This is for Certified Therapy Dogs only. Vacation time is coming up. Wayne Grant is offering a great service for our community. He has been a dedicated member of our Therapy Dog Team for many years. He truly loves our devoted pets! Please give him a call to serve your pets' needs while you are away.

We had a wonderful time in class tonight, week #2 of our Beginner Dog Obedience Course. I forgot to take pictures!! We had a great Week #1 Dog Obedience Training Class tonight! Lots of socializing!! So much, we didn't get any pictures! Thank you Remy and Jinger for focusing so well and learning so much.

We had a chilly but fun afternoon training our dogs! The Confidence Training Class went well, even if the dogs were more interested in PLAYING than WORK! All the dogs had some shining moments. We took a break for some playtime and then did our STAR Puppy and Canine Good Citizen Tests. Special congratulations go out to Miss Elsie and Sir Barkley for passing with flying colors! You have both come so far and worked very hard to earn these awards. Thank you Lolly and Isaac for staying after class and celebrating their achievements!

We had a great class this afternoon! Conquered both tunnels, a 4 jump line and started learning our left and right turns! Thank you Lolly, Barkley, Isaac, your patient handlers and Lana for your assistance. You all went above and beyond! I'm SO proud of you!

We had a very well received Therapy Dog Visit this afternoon at Lowe's on Zebulon Road in Macon. Sadie passed her second test on becoming a Certified Therapy Dog. Congratulations !

Congratulations to Sadie for passing your initial test and your first Therapy Dog Visit. We were once again at Lowe's on Zebulon Road in Macon and they welcomed us with open arms! I'm so thankful for the lack of rain last night for our week number 3 Group Dog Obedience Course. We reviewed and maintained our Focus, Socializing Skills and Manners. we added to our fun with The Really Reliable Recall Game! It was a great night.
