Attn High School Seniors: The Community Bankers Association of Georgia and Queensborough are accepting applications from local high school seniors for the Juli...an & Jan Hester Memorial Scholarship. This is a $1000 scholarship and will be awarded to 4 seniors throughout Georgia. Students must be planning to attend a Georgia university, college, or technical institute (two-year program or more) in the fall of 2021. The scholarship will be based on academic merit, not financial need. If you have a senior in high school, or know of someone who would be interested, please let them know. Deadline for applications to be turned into any Queensborough branch is Friday, April 2nd. Message From the Superintendent: We have had a great week back in Jenkins County Schools! We had one positive student case identified this week and have 25 in... the system that are quarantined. The number of quarantines includes those that are absent because they were sick or close contacts during the break. Thank you for continuing to monitor your student's health and notifying the school if they have to be out because of being sick, a close contact, or a positive covid test result.
