Speaking of our next luncheon, we will have Malhar Bhagat joining us to discuss NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming)! If you haven’t heard of NLP yet, you are in for a treat! Neuro-Linguistic Programming is system of understanding human behavior that was invented in the 1970s by two me...n named John Grinder and Richard Bandler. NLP is based on the belief that all of us have preconceived ideas that shape how we approach our lives. Knowing what our individual assumptions are and how they're limiting us can help us overcome negative or unhelpful behaviors and achieve our goals. Since non-verbal signals are clues to how people subconsciously see the world, understanding how people communicate (especially what they are communicating non-verbally) is a fundamental aspect of NLP. From Malhar: Throughout my life I have gone to MANY, MANY events, masterminds, bootcamps, webinars, etc. and not much has impacted me both personally & professionally quite as much as my study of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming). It is amazing how the mind works and we can learn how to work WITH it instead of against it. It has helped our businesses earn more with less output and enhanced my personal life substantially. It is definitely a new passion of mine and I want to spread this work to as many people as I can.
