UPDATE: Residential garbage truck has been repaired. We’re caught up with Monday’s route, and currently picking up Tuesday’s route. NOTICE: Due to residential garbage truck being repaired, Monday & Tuesday’s route will be delayed. Please leave your can out until it’s picked up. We should be caught up by Wednesday. NOTICE: Starting on Tuesday, March 23, the City of Jesup will be doing construction on & cleaning out ditches on James E. Johnson & L. C. Cogdell, Jr. Connectors, from Highway 84 (in front of Walmart) to N. 4th St. Also on N. 4th St, from Jesup Head Start (near Hall Richardson Recreation Center) to Boston St. This process will take approximately 2 weeks. Please travel a different route whenever possible. Thank you in advance for your patience.

Georgia, Jesup FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE The Grievance Committee met today, March 18, 2021 @ 1:30 pm at Cracker Williams Community Center regarding the termination of former Police Chief Mike Lane by City Manager Mike Deal. The Committee unanimously voted to uphold the City Manager's decision. The hearing has been completed, and the decision of the Grievance Committee shall be final.
