Our allocation meeting will be at 4PM tomorrow in the Schwob Parlor at Temple Israel. Board members, please make every effort to attend this important meeting.

This is just a reminder that all requests for aid must be received by the allocation committee by November 1, 2016 to be considered in its deliberations this year.

Though our community is aging and shrinking, our commitment to JFNA and other Jewish agencies here and abroad remains strong. We have just completed another successful campaign thanks to your generosity and interest.

Remembering Jewish History: December 15, 1961: Adolph Eichmann, an SS Lieutenant-Colonel during World War II who implemented the final solution in an attempt to exterminate European Jewry, is sentenced to death for crimes against humanity, crimes against the Jewish people and membership in an outlawed organization. Publicly tried in Jerusalem, he was executed by hanging on May 31, 1962. This execution remains the only time that Israel has enacted a death sentence.
