In accordance with the agency’s succession plan, Esther Peters, with 35 years of experience at Jim Boyd & Associates, will now become their senior partner. Jim laid a solid foundation for his employees to continue to serve our client base and to grow the business for future generations, said Peters. Jim Boyd Insurance Agency is widely acknowledged for its achievements both in the industry and in community. He was a true, dedicated leader, said Ms. Peters. Indeed, Jim Boyd was active within a number of organizations and served on numerous boards in his local and regional community as well as within the insurance industry, among them: The Boy Scouts, The Bank of Madison, The Madison-Morgan Chamber of Commerce, Independent Agents of Georgia, a founding member of SecurRisk, Foothills AHEC, St. Mary’s Healthcare in Athens, Ga., and Morgan Medical Center.
