We’ve been keeping a pretty big secret around the Chippewa Valley Montessori School for the last few weeks. Last Friday, we had the opportunity to share that s...ecret. Dylan was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and has been working with Mr. Bart individually, for several years, in order to build his stamina. Over many sessions, Dylan and Mr. Bart learned that they both shared a love of racing. When he discovered that Mr. Bart built race cars of his own, he asked, Do you think you could build ME a race care someday? As Mr. Bart said, How do you say no to that? Dylan knew about the car that Mr. Bart was building, but he did NOT know just how special that car would be, OR, the very special people that have been collaborating with Mr. Bart. As it turns out, there are a whole lot of huge-hearted people that have been inspired by Dylan’s hard work and progress. They all came together in very special way to encourage a very special kid. We are so proud of Dylan and Mr. Bart, and today we have many people to thank. Our sincere gratitude to Kevin Harvick, for inspiring the next generation of racers in more ways than you know. (Go get ‘em today at Daytona!) And many thanks to Josh Jones at KHI Management for sharing Dylan’s story with Mr. Harvick.
