Early last week we completed our annual GAgives and Silent Auction, and we just wanted to say congratulations for making it a great success.Thank you for taking part: We could not have done it without you! Because of your efforts, we were able to raise over $5,000 for the Junior League of Macon! We raised $2,095 for GAgives and $3,195 for our Silent Auction. We'd also like to extend thanks toMacon Pediatric Dentistry(for matching $1,000) and toMary Pinson (for offering her wonderful Wreath Making Workshop) with all of their help on Giving Tuesday. In addition to our volunteer service, members of the Junior League also love to spend time together at social events. Mary Pinson has offered a Wreath Making Workshop to the Junior League. It will be held via Zoom tonight at 7 and wreath kits will be available for pick up prior to the workshop. It's $55 and a portion of the proceeds will be given back to the JLM. The Junior League of Macon supports community organizations dedicated to literacy and children by providing financial and volunteer support. In our most recently completed League year, we partnered with 6 different local community organizations. Through 9 Community Impact Projects, we interacted with 500 children and donated over 600 new children’s books.
