When retaining professional services, whether in the legal world or the technology one, one of the first questions on a potential client’s mind is the cost. Unfortunately far too many people, including myself, do not like to put specific prices for different services out in public. Today that changes. J. Daniel Morrison & Associates, J. Morrison Technology Services, and J.D. Morrison Web Services will be transitioning to flat fees for as many services as possible. We want... to provide transparency. We also can, when appropriate, split out the fees we charge in the event you are unable to pay the full amount we charge upfront. Of course, not every service can be provided as a flat fee but our goal is to make as many items flat fees as possible. We also want to make it easy to review your bill, review the work we have done on your case even though most bills are a singular fee, and overall offer the transparency that we feel is imperative to our independent but associated companies. Over the next month, and hopefully sooner, you will begin to see what we can do for you. As an example, here are some of the plans we have: Work From Home Setup: $125 if you are within 50 miles of Douglasville or Vinings. $150 if you are within 100 miles. We do cover the entire southeast but distances beyond 100 miles will need to be worked out. Printer or desktop troubleshooting: $75 for offsite repair, $125 for on-site repair if you are within 50 miles of Douglasville or Vinings and $175 for on-site repair if you are within 100 miles Computer virus repair: $125 for on-site within 50 miles of Douglasville or Vinings and $175 within 100 miles. This type of repair may require us to safely remove your equipment and repair it in our office. *(we guarantee our work so if we make a mistake, we will correct it as long as you have the device in question. In the event there is mistake that was not our fault, we will be happy to assist in correcting it at a discount).
