Q&A Question: What's in a "All In One Campfire Box?"... Answer: Everything you'll need to have a successful campfire. Plenty of hardwood pieces, pine starter wood and fat lighter splints. ALL IN ONE!!! No need to search for anything but a match. Tear the box into small slivers and place your fat lighter in a mix with the box pieces. Lay two or three hardwood pieces down in a parallel fashion with your box slivers and fat lighter splints in the center. With your pine starter wood, lattice your pine starter wood along the runners and over your box and fat lighter pieces. With the remaining hardwood pieces, log cabin stack your campfire build, offsetting each level to allow adequate air flow. Light your box and fat lighter pieces and enjoy a great campfire within just a few minutes. ALL IN ONE CAMPFIRE BOXES are $10 each or 3 for $25.

Did You Know? According to research carried out by the University of Alabama sitting by a fire decreases blood pressure. The study measured the blood pressure among 226 adults. Participants were asked to watch a video of a virtual fire with and without sound; their blood pressure was monitored before and after the trial. The results indicated consistent blood pressure decreases in the fire-with-sound condition and enhancing effects of absorption and pro-sociality.

Cut up an old log down by the branch this afternoon in hopes it was good... End result: It's too far gone... No reason to let it dry or go any further!... So we're setting up for a large back yard fire pit fire this afternoon... Less than desirable to sale wood equals "it's gotta go". So it's getting roasted here on the farm. Pine cones and kindling down, large runners, stacked like a cabin and LET'S GET IT FIRED UP...

Attention SOLO Stove owners and similar makes, If you need wood for your portable fireplace, such as a solo stove, please give us a heads up and we'll cut you 6" -8" chunks of dry, seasoned hardwood that will easily fit into these devices. A large box full is $10 and will come with a small bundle of pine starter wood and fat lighter; off to the side.... We'll stack the chunks and pieces into each box as tight as possible.

Humidity and breezes can play havoc on people attempting to get a campfire started. One simple trick is to locate a dozen pine cones. Break small twigs and stick them between the open peddles of the pine cone. With a piece of paper, rip small sections and stick the torn portions between the open peddles of the pine cone. Do this with about half of your find. Place the prepared 6 cones in the center of your campfire with your kindling and fat lighter pieces (if you have any).... With the other half of cones, place them in and around your smaller pieces of wood throughout your fire build. Now light the cones with the paper pieces in it and in just a handful of seconds you should have a good start to a wonderful campfire. For the wood of the campfire, send us a message about what's in stock. We have the wood you'll need!
