Don't let modern gadget spoil the real spirit of Christmas!! Unplug and get hoppin’ on some old-fashioned family fun. A few ideas: 1. Listen to a holiday audiobookone chapter a night. (I highly recommend A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. It’s festive, short, and you’ll feel SO smart after listening). 2. Purchase two identical puzzles, divide into teams, and race to see who can finish first (a 500-piece is perfect!). 3. Make a gingerbread village (think multiple hous...es...with kits of course). 4. Go for a hike at a nearby trail, take a walking tour of neighborhood lights, or organize a multi-day tournament of various yard games. 5. Find a holiday-themed scavenger hunt online and send the kids outside lists in hand.
