All the progress at the @savannahboathouse has us reminiscing on another maritime project, @waterwitchtiki . Almost a year ago JTVS completed @waterwitchtiki , Savannah’s first Tiki Bar; we are happy, but not surprised, to say it has quickly become a vibrant and unique experience within the Starland District. Our team worked meticulously with the owners and designers to insure that their vision came to life; no idea was too out there to be abandoned at sea. We custom built ...design features and finishes like the rope light fixtures, thatched roof, and bamboo bar in order to stay on the project track and execute this unique design. Hodgson Hall at Georgia Historical Society has been an incredible project to work on. Between Historic elements and consideration of how historic archives are processed, the project has presented complex and unique challenges. We have completed Phase 1 and 2 successfully and will soon begin working on Phase 3. Although still in progress we thought we'd share how well the new addition is blending seamlessly within the historic fabric of the neighborhood. Drone video: Shamrock Drones

Great news -- one of our current projects, 2400 Bull Street, was featured on WTOC-TV after Savannah City Council approved it for micro-breweries, craft distilleries, bars, and other uses. The project is coming along well and we look forward to seeing it enrich The Starland District soon. We had a very special delivery yesterday when Associated General Contractors of Georgia CEO Mike Dunham was kind enough to deliver our Build Georgia Award for Starland Yard along with a commemorative plaque while on his visit to Savannah. What a great way to end the week!

This week the Atlanta Business Chronicle is highlighting the 2020 AGC Georgia's Build Georgia Award winners including our award for Starland Yard. The highlight was meant to be partnered with the official award ceremony at the AGC Annual Convention this month. Although the Convention was canceled this year for the safety of its members, we are thrilled to have such great support from both AGC Georgia and ABC. With our increased and full commitment to the safety and productivity of our projects and workers over the last month, we have not able to appropriately welcome two JTVS team members Weber Player and Tamara Harty. Weber joined us last month as a Project Manager and Estimator and Tamara as our Comptroller and Office Manager. They both launched into their roles seamlessly and have been working incredibly hard on keeping the caliber of our work at a high along with all of our team. We are lucky to have them on board want to properly say Welcome to the Team!

Earlier this month we had the pleasure of having Savannah-native, John Swinson join the JTVS team as Project Manager. John is a licensed contractor in Georgia and South Carolina and has a wealth of experience in multi-faceted, large-scale development projects in Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina Region.
