Good Morning Everyone! I hope everybody has fun watching the Super Bowl. Just a friendly reminder: On February 27th we will be having our color (gup) test and make sure you see Master Jett to get signed up for the test and to buy your boards. ... For our candidacy students we will be doing our weapons class this Saturday at the park. So please bring your staffs, knives and swords ( if you know the forms for the last two or just learning the forms) as of right now the weather is 30 percent of rain and the high will be 44 degrees. So you been warned! Also if you are testing this cycle and need help remember you can always have private lessons and if you just need some advice you can always ask one of the Instructors/ Instructors in training. We are more then happy to help you! Either this week or next week I’ll have the quizlet for the test on here for you to study and throughout the next couple of weeks I will be giving you some pointers on what you should do to get ready for the test. For the ones who are testing these next few weeks are going to be exciting and those pesky butterflies are going to get in your stomach but that is why you have the masters and higher ranks to help you! ... So I will be posting quizlet for you guys to study from. Also I want you to meet your new best friend which is the study handbook. If you don’t have one, please talk to Sir so that we can get one in your hands for you to study from. *hint hint it’s important for your written test hint hint* But it is going to be a good spring cycle and let’s try our best! Just a reminder:... Gups (color belts) test is on February 27th Blackbelt candidacy will be this Saturday 1/30! *hint hint* hope you been practicing your forms. If you are testing for your next rank or blackbelt and you have questions don’t be nervous to ask Joe Clark, Matt Davis and Carly Hall any questions. After reviewing all the information from the Center for Disease Control, local/state health departments, etc., we are cancelling classes for this week, 15-22 March, as a precautionary measure. We feel it is in the best interest of our families and students and will help with the recommended social distancing. We will assess if it is safe to re-open in the following weeks based on the information at that time. We are looking into ways to make up for lost training time. In the meantime, practice at home and continue to check our Facebook page for updates. Thank you for your understanding! Stay healthy and we look forward to seeing everyone once things have settled!
