Legislative Update Week 1 Monday, January 11th marked the start of the 156th Legislative session. We took our oath of office and were sworn in by Superior Court Chief Judge Brenda Weaver. It is always an honor to be sworn in to represent the great people of our district. 9/11 has always stood as an illustration of the bravery of the American spirit to me. May we never forget the countless heroes that ran into the destruction, and the ones that ran into that cockpit. I will never forget the fear that shook our nation as we realized there was true evil in this world. 19 years, it is so hard to believe it has been that long. Hug your love ones and say a prayer for those that are unable to do so.
