Dear Kathy's Daycare Springfield Parents, Families & Guardian I am writing to inform you that we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close Kathy's Daycare Springfield for the fourteen(14) day quarantine period, as part of a national effort to mitigate the worst effects of the coronavirus. We feel the time has come for us to take this step, as the first confirmed case of the virus in Effingham County was yesterday Thursday March 19th. Our last day of operation wil...l be Friday March 20, 2020 at 6:00pm. We know that closing our door will impact our most vulnerable families and we recognize that working families depend on the consistency and predictability of Kathy's Daycare. Our top priority is always the health and safety of all children, their families, and our staff. Our goal was to keep our doors open as long as possible while prioritizing the health and safety of our students and staff. Thank you for working with us through this evolving situation that impacts all facets of life in our entire community. We are taking real-time preventive measures in response to information that key agencies provide. Our projected re-open date is Monday April 6,2020 at 6:00am.
