He is owned by his trainer and thus has been put on the back burner, but really is looking for his own person. He has big powerful gaits with an uphill way of going and is super fun to ride. He still has lots to learn but loves to work yet hates being brushed (typical thin-skinned thoroughbred). Edgar has limited show miles but loves to jump and has yet to stop at a fence. He will trail ride and could be a great fox hunter as he is happy to try new experiences. He is naive because he’s never had a hard day in his life, but this is also what makes him so honest. His price reflects the tie back surgery he had as a two year old, but it does not affect his performance. This horse will be something special once he finds his person. What'd I say?! Even better day two at Horse Show Ventures! Dr.Fenn and MakeItOrBreakIt brought home a first in both pre-long over fences and flat. And a first, second and third in schooling hunter. Kay and Edgar Degas earned a first, second and third in their schooling hunter division. Three riders tied with a top 20 points in the schooling hunter division so Champion and Reserve Champion were awarded based on points over fences. Kay ended up with Champion and Dr. Fenn Reserve Champion!

Very successful day one at Horse Show Ventures for Dr. Fenn on MakeItOrBreakIt and Kay on Edgar Degas! Both Edgar and Zara's third time out! Edgar took home a second, third and fourth and Zara two firsts and two thirds earning her Champion of her schooling hunter division! Looking forward to an even better day tomorrow!

Madison got one last lesson in this morning before leaving for COLLEGE this evening! Congrats Madison Lee, all of us at KJPH are very proud of you and wish you the very best at ABAC. Come home and visit us and Edgar often!

KJPH is looking to hire a reliable working student! The ideal candidate must be at least 16 years old and have reliable transportation, as well as experience handling and working with horses. Horse experience is a MUST. Position is 2 days/ week with some pay and lessons. Our barn is full of amazing clients and horses, with a fun but professional atmosphere! This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to excel as a rider and horseman!
