This legit just brought me to tears. It's not just this week. This is a lifelong journey I'm on currently. I've spent soooooooo much of my life being a chameleon and just going with the flow of what others want. Everyone from family members, friendships, relationships, employers, coworkers.... These actions stemmed from being constantly told that I was selfish as a kid. That has always been with me. It hasn't been a healthy journey. I made a lot of decisions that I have to li...ve with based on pleasing others. Now ladies and gents, it's the dawn of a new day and as of a few weeks ago I realized it was time to truly focus on my well-being, self-love and self-care. I've felt this way for a while, wanting to change it and knowing that I should, but I was afraid. I felt that it was wrong, and those are such unhealthy thoughts that I'd kept tell myself and I kept myself trapped. However I'm not going to beat myself up about it, and I've forgiven myself. But now I am on this journey and I'm loving every minute of it. As I re-learn myself and what I want, what I desire, what I love, what I need.
