Tomorrow is the day!! Come out and meet the artist of the newest public art installation in Dalton! Last year we started working on this piece to celebrate KDWB's 30th anniversary and we cannot wait to share it with each of you So many people have gone into making this project possible from KDWB board members, our sponsors, Chris Beck's generous donation of passion, time, and work beyond what we ever expected, Dalton Public Works, Fiddleheads, the Creative Arts Guild, and ALL of our incredible volunteers. We hear there will be some free treats from Casa Del Cafe and La Esperanza Bakery for everyone that comes out to celebrate with us Come enjoy this incredible piece that has taken a whole community to create! Be honest, how many Amazon packages do you have piled up in your garage right now?

Whatever you’re celebrating this holiday season, remember to stay sustainable. Americans typically throw away 25% more trash at this time of year due to all the gifting, feasting, decorating, and general merriment. Reduce waste whenever you can, and when you bring your bins to the curb, make sure you secure them properly so their contents don’t get away. #reconsiderlitter (: Luke van Zyl)

Better throw all that non-glittery and metallic paper in the blue bin in a few days!
