What’s closing day without a little excitement? This past month we had the pleasure of helping Briggs and Andi through their first home buying experience. As two recent college graduates with exciting careers ahead, they were set up to have a smooth, uneventful closing.... that is until they realized that Andi had packed the closing check in the deep recesses of their U-Haul. After a quick re-con mission, the check was secured and put into the appropriate hands. Congratulations you two; on the house, on the graduation, and on the engagement. All’s well that ends well!

We were so happy to focus on Called to Care of Tift and Turner County for September’s Community Service Project! When a child enters foster care, Called to Care tries to provide every child with 2 sets of PJ’s, 1 for winter and 1 for summer. This month Homestar Tifton was able to answer their public call for donations with 40 sets of boys and girls PJ’s.
