Wednesday Wisdom: What is a keeping room? This is a smaller room, often having a fireplace, located right off the kitchen. It’s intended to be a cozy place for company to enjoy while still being able to interact with people cooking in the kitchen. Keeping rooms date back many years & were often found in older homes. The picture below is from our previous home which had a keeping room. You can see it at the far end of the kitchen where the fireplace is located. They are very charming little spaces!

TUESDAY TIP: Remember... location matters when you’re looking for a home. You can make cosmetic changes or switch up a floor plan fairly easy, but you can’t change the location of the home. When you purchase a home, you also get all that surrounds it, so be sure you love the place!

Hello! Let me introduce myself. I am Catrina Wood, Keith’s wife. I am excited to team up with Keith in his real estate business. While these suggestions will require some work on the sellers part, it will definitely pay off well when it comes to selling the home.
