This is a great discussion of depression, and how one comedian has dealt with it. Incidentally, he had a great experience with TMS, which is available in my office. If you want to skip to the part about depression it begins around 3:30 minutes in. http://www.cc.com//the-daily-show-with-trevor-noah-neal-br

One year ago today I took the plunge and started my own practice! I am thrilled to be able to help people every day(or so I hope), and after one year I can say that I look forward to doing basically this very thing for the next 20 or 30 years! Thanks, and just remember, there is always hope, and help is only a phone call away!

There's a lot going on in the news, and it's all been said better than I can say it. But this from Secretary Price, this is seriously misguided and simply wrong. Medication assisted therapy is extremely effective for opiate dependence, and basically nothing else works. I'm glad he is talking about opiate dependence, but this kind of talk can deter people from getting treatment they need, and send them back into the shadows, where some of them will die. Secretary Price needs to look at the data and the multiple verifiable repeatable studies on opiate dependence before he speaks on this again. If you or anyone you know needs help in this area, effective help is available! Look on the SAMHSA website for a Suboxone provider in your area, or contact this office. http://www.motherjones.com//tom-price-opioid-addiction-tre

Off I go! As of today, officially on my own, but fortunately not much will change. I want to thank Columbus Psychological Associates for all of their help over the past 3 years. Looking forward to the next steps, and don't forget, help is available!
