God made a way for us to have a close relationship with Him that will last forever. He sent His Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for our sins. And Jesus proved that He really is God’s Son when He rose from the dead! That’s why we celebrate Easter. We can have peace with God because of what Jesus did for us.

Even when we have to wait, there’s still so much to thank God for and so much to celebrate. When we take time to celebrate, it helps us wait better and more patiently, too! When you’re waiting for all the fun Easter celebrations to come this week, you can celebrate and thank God for sending us Jesus. You can celebrate even when you’re waiting.

It takes a lot of trust to wait for something you want right now. You have to trust God and believe that His timing is always perfecteven when you can’t understand why. If you have trouble waiting and you need some help, you can always talk to God about it. The next time you have to wait for something you really want, take a second to think. Think about what it could cost you if you’re NOT patient.
