You know what? We miss you! We do. We miss arts and crafts and high-fives and big hugs! But the people who know the most about fighting the dangers we're facing now have given a very clear set of guidelines about what type of testing needs to be available and how long we need to see a decline in the numbers of cases before it's safe to return to our hustle and bustle, and we haven't met those benchmarks yet. We know the GA governor has given the go ahead to open some business...es, but even if we can open our doors, we won't yet. We care about our community so much and keeping you all safe is more important than anything else. So we'll continue to see your smiling faces on our computer screens because staying home is making a difference so it's not time yet to change course. We need to continue to do our part to support our healthcare workers who are facing the worst of this reality. As always, we are here for you, even from a distance. Please call, text or email us with any questions or concerns. 9127137915 [email protected] See more

La ayuda que su hijo necesita en vivo por videollamada. Le ayudamos con sus tareas de inglés y a entender las tareas de todas sus clases. You student can get the help they need for Spanish live by videocall. Homeschooling and online schooling is hard. You don't have to do it alone. We've added an expanded schedule 5 days a week and discounted rates EXCLUSIVELY for high school and college students so they can get the help they need to finish out the school year. We'll also wor...k with parents to help you understand the material so you can better support your child. We strongly recommend reserving a seat in advance on our website www.savannahLCX.com as we limit each session to only 10 students so they can each receive the highest quality of instruction. Our regular tutoring center remains available to EVERYONE on its normal schedule by live videocall.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that we will be postponing all children's classes, drop-in and session, until further notice. We want all of our community to stay healthy and safe and right now, that means staying home. All monthly memberships will be paused the same number of weeks our session is postponed. Please stay tuned for announcements regarding virtual story times and virtual homeschool Spanish classes so that we can continue to enjoy and support our community during this difficult time of social distancing.

We want our community to know that we are monitoring all the latest updates on guidance for best practices regarding social distancing and quarantine. At this time, we have no plans to alter our class schedules or special events, either for the adult or children's programs, in any way. (Please note that the children's drop-in class on Saturday, Mar 21 was already cancelled due to spring break and that continues to be the case). We run small group classes. The maximum class si...ze is 8 students. Classes are 4-6 students on average so, as per the current guidance, it is safe to go ahead with them. If something were to change, we would reschedule and, if that were not possible, pause all memberships and refund any cancelled programs. As has always been our policy, all payments are transferible. So if anyone reserves a seat and for whatever reason, decides before beginning not to participate, they can postpone their reservation to another time, or use the balance on other programs. You can continue to register on our website and begin classes as normal. We will update with any changes, but we feel it is important to continue to safely engage in community and support each other in times like these more than any other. Please know that to us, our students are the best part of the Exchange and we will be making all decisions with your health and safety as top priority. We have lots of hand sanitizer available, easy access to hand washing stations, and we're cleaning all class areas and props with extra diligence to keep everyone healthy. See more

I don't know about you, but our spring break plans have just changed drastically And now it's a mad scramble to come up with things to do that don't involve large crowds or travel. We originally cancelled drop-in classes on St Patrick's day, but in light of recent news, we WILL be having our 430pm drop-in class. We have plenty of hand sanitizer and easy access to hand washing to keep everyone safe and healthy. We also have a fun adult arts and beverages event tomorrow afternoon and kids are welcome to enjoy playing in the playroom while we enjoy our activity 3-6pm. Spring break doesn't have to be a bust, small community events will keep you sane

We always have such a great time @savannahchristianprep You can see how much our students learn from play-based classes. It's well beyond just memorizing words. They're really growing and learning in another language This past session we learned about bicycles while traveling to Europe in our imaginations! We can't wait to start our new session in a couple of weeks. If your child is a student at SCPS, there's still 1 day left to register for a seat in one of our after s...chool classes and save yourself the scheduling and traveling headaches. Their teachers will walk your student right to us at the end of the school day and you pick them up after class or we'll walk the over to after school care. If your child is a SCPS student use this link to register: https://savcps.com/academics/lower-school/ If not, you can register for our regular classes at our school here:https://savannahlcx.com/savannah-kids-spanish-classes See more

¡Bricolaje en español fue todo un éxito! Some knew a lot of Spanish, some only knew a little, but they all saw how much fun they can have using it together How could we NOT do this again?! Come create with us again on Saturday, Mar 28, 1-4pm. Free to play. $16 to do the craft, $12/additional sibling. In March we'll be creating growth charts decorated with animals We only seat 6 children at each 30 minutes seating, so reserve your time slot in advance here: https://ww...w.hisawyer.com/savannah-area-language-/schedules We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early as your child will want to explore their new, fun surroundings before sitting down to do the craft.
