A *HUGE THANK YOU* to everyone who came out this morning to our record-breaking litter cleanup in the Calumet Park community! We saw nearly 120 volunteers join... together and pick up approximately 8,000 pounds of litter! WOW!!! Definitely our biggest cleanup to date! Thank you to our community partners - #CalumetParkNeighborhoodAssocation, LaGrange - Troup County Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis Club of LaGrange Georgia, Ark Refuge Ministry, LaGrange Fire Department, LaGrange Police and all of the AWESOME volunteers who came together to make this such a great success! Participants picked up litter from McGee Street to Daniel Street and Hines Street to Dix Street. Today’s cleanup is the largest participation and largest amount of litter collected to date. Want to join us on our next cleanup? Saturday, March 27th, 9:00 a.m.-noon, The City of LaGrange is proud to be a sponsor of Chattahoochee Riverkeeper’s Sweep the Hooch event.
