Antique Half Moon Table. When I stripped it I discovered the gorgeous variation in color of the veneer underneath. I asked the client if I could have creative license in the refinishing process instead of returning it to the overall red finish. She was thrilled with the outcome.

I loved doing this project. The owner of this mirror asked me to recreate the lost/missing pieces on the bottom right hand corner of this mirror. I first took out the pieces that were also crumbling and then cleaned the entire mirror. I sculpted the design of the vines and leaves back in. I then matched the paint so you couldn't see the repair. There were also several chips around the corners & edges of the rest of the mirror that I restored as well also matching the paint in spots all over the mirror.

A few of my favorite things I've done over the past several months.

I made these 2 pieces for my best friend & her daughter. The 1st is a photo of her dad & son. Her father is not well so I wanted to make something that would capture his heart & character for her. The 2nd was made for her daughter (my adopted daughter as well ) for her HS graduation. She is a rare beauty, extraordinary talented musician, a free spirit, a beautiful heart and so much more. I want her to remember to hold onto those things forever. I love you both Kelly & Gabby McCluskey

My most recent furniture "fix." Client had this beautiful round antique table with some pretty nasty gashes on the top and some peeling veneer around the edges. I had to fill the gashes/holes/peeling veneer with wood putty, paint in the wood grain to match and then refinish the top. All this during 40's and 20's degree weather. Took much longer than it should have bc of the weather challenge but the result was very nice.

My neighbor asked me to antique her island in her kitchen after having it painted. Here are the before and after photos.

Had the amazing opportunity to stain and finish a wine room in a home in Brookhaven this fall. All pine, stone floors, they wanted a rugged look. It was a 2 color staining process after prepping the wood and then sealed with a wax finish. Thank you Kal & Sabrina.

I just finished the most awesome project. I've never done something quite like this and I loved every minute of it and hope I get the opportunity to do it again soon. A client was renovating a very large home near Dunwoody Country Club and they had this GORGEOUS old Irish bar in the basement he wanted restored. So I took it on. Here is the project from start to finish.

Working on the most amazing new project. An Irish Pub in a home that's being renovated. I've been hired to refinish the top, the inside, the outside baseboards, spray seal the entire bar and basically make it look new again. So honored bc it's so kick ass awesome. Still in progress. Keep you posted.

Client wanted a new look for her table and gave me creative license. She loves these kinds of colors, shapes, etc. She was thrilled with the outcome.

Most recent antique restoration. These very early century barrel chairs and table were down to the bare wood. No varnish left at all. The challenge I encountered was the wood in the chairs had absorbed so much of the red in the previous stain and no matter how much I sanded after stripping it would not let go of the red dye. I then had to use wood bleach to fade the spots that remained to keep from getting a spotted or zebra finish. Then used gel stain instead of liquid which covers better. The client was over the moon with the end result!!
