District 1 Council member Carla Smith invites the community to join her for EcoDepot, Atlanta’s largest recycling event, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, April 24 a...t the Center for Hard to Recycle Materials (CHaRM), 1110 Hill Street SE. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, registration is required to attend. Visit https://livethrive.org/ to register. Social distancing and wearing face masks are encouraged. Items accepted at the site include cardboard, musical instruments, bikes, electronics, paint, mattresses, cooking oil, tires, textiles, compost, appliances, metals, paper, books, and plastics.
