Sometimes we are stubborn in listening to what God may want or not want for our lives. We have tried three times to build on our farm, with ALWAYS something falling through. Whether it was our desires, our dreams, and/or our disobedience to hearing what the Lord says, we always fell short. Always trying to put it in our hands, not His. The past month has been difficult when we realized we could not build the home we tried so hard to make work. We finally let go of that dream ...and asked God to show us a sign during this Lent period. This home popped up on the market on March 20 and had an offer from another buyer before we even got there. After two days of negotiations between the parties, a slight window was opened for us to put in an offer on March 25. The offer was accepted the same day and you are now looking at our new home. Even though it is not on our own property and farm, it is within five miles and is perfect for our family. We pray that the process will go smoothly as we feel God was the one who opened the window for us to buy this home. Please pray for this closing. Our kids are ecstatic to have a place to call home after many years of renting. See more
