Final Facebook Reminder: One week from today, Monday, October 12th (Columbus Day!) will be our first annual charity golf event. If you haven't signed up, please consider joining us for a fun day of golf and fellowship, for a worthy cause!

On Friday, October 2, some of our brother Knights brought lunch to the 1st Responder's at Fire Station #28 located at 3538 Kem Ridge Rd in Acworth. Helping with the effort were brother's Jerome Day, John Heider, Ed Green, Joe Bannon, Michael Durham and Steve Alshie. Thank you gentlemen!

Many thanks to our brother Knights who completed Father Tim's privacy fence on Saturday, September 26th!

Many thanks to our Brother Knights who helped with the construction of a 150 foot 8' fence at the back of the rectory. The initial steps, setting the fence posts, took longer than expected (5 hours). Completion of the fence is planned for this Saturday, September 26th, weather permitting. Look for an update, via email and FB, from our Grand Knight.

On Saturday, August 1st, the Knights of Columbus Council 15996, along with a couple of helpers, gathered for painting at a newly acquired transitional residence that has been added to the facilities of Calvary Children's Home located in Cobb county. The Knights regularly assist with various needs at their campus in support of their work with the children who live on site. Many thanks to Myles, Fran, Orrie, Joe, Jerome, Ken, Tom, Chris D, Ben, Ty, Chris G and the leader, Steve!

On July 10th , six of our brother Knights met in service to one of our supported charities, Safe Path. Safe Path is an organization focused on reducing the trauma to children and their families by using a child-friendly approach to allegations of child abuse. Our brothers work to maintain and refre h their campus grounds regularly to help them provide a warm, welcoming, home-like atmosphere for the children. The six brothers involved were- CJ Broussaud... Thursday night, June 25, the Knights of Council 15996 participated in the annual New Officer's Installation mass and ceremony. Many thanks for Fr Mark for his support of our council and serving as it's Chaplin for several years. Thanks to out-going Deputy Grand Knight, Vince Belli for his leadership during the past year. Congratulations to Myles Lavelle, incoming Grand Knight and the new officer's. With the help of all brother Knights, we will have a great year 2020-2021 year.
