Gratitude is a plus!!!! Thank you Morant Bay High School Past Student Association Atlanta Chapter for allowing me the honor of hosting your 8th Annual Ball. Wh...at an evening it turned out to be? I’m delighted to be a part of a service that gives back to the parish of St. Thomas. The PHD Jazz Band set the tone with some authentic classics rendered in great style. Guest speaker the Honorable Fenton Ferguson MP for Eastern St. Thomas, delivered a stirring speech punctuated with updates, Key data and challenges to the Diaspora. Outgoing president Dr. D Terrence Foster welcomed his president elect Mr. Howard Jackson. Reverend Dr. Maxine Foster provided an update on the impact of the scholarships program back home. She urged for more support from her friends in the Diaspora. Parry Hinds had the audience out of their seats despite a truncated set. DJ Redds had everyone singing and dancing until well after 2 AM. In the words of one attendee I had a ball. That’s what it was set out to be and promise kept by the hard working Morant Bay High School Alumni organizing committee. Looking forward to next year!
