There are two opportunities to see Douglas Moore's The Ballad of Baby Doe! Tonight at 7:30pm and tomorrow at 3:00pm. This true to life story of Rags, Riches & Scandal is set in the mid to late 1800’s in the Rocky Mountains. Horace Tabor after grubstaking a couple of silver miners in Leadville, Colorado became wealthy and influential. Soon thereafter, he left his wife Augusta, for the young and beautiful Baby Doe which caused quite a scandal. Years later following the demise of the silver standard, he died in poverty. Tickets still available.

Little Women was the first opera composed by American composer Mark Adamo to his own libretto based on Louisa May Alcott’s classic tale. There's still time to grab your tickets for tonight's 7:30 performance of "...endings..." Operatic Farewells, Deaths, and Murders. Kay Paschal and our three Directing Interns explore endings, a variety of finales in opera’s standardand not-so-standardrepertoire that we have come to expect in our genre: death, murder, suicide, even farewells. Truthfully, it seems customary for most operas to have a variation on a theme of some ending woven into its fabric. After all, a priority of theater itself can be the expression of emotion in death and separations. Tickets available at link below.
