I'm proud to be a part of State Farm's Good Neighborhood Relief Program during these uncertain times. Our Agency, along with 7 other Agents in the area were able to come together and donate $4500 to My Sister's House. It's no surprise that the shelter has been hit hard by the pandemic. My Sister’s House is an overnight homeless shelter that accommodates both women and children. However, My Sister’s House provides more than just a safe place to sleep at night. My Sister’s House also works to meet some of the other immediate needs of those who stay here. The caring and compassionate staff address those needs by offering counseling and child care services as well as referrals for health and legal care. Their staff also helps the residents find transitional housing and job training.
