What you put in your body is just as important, if not more important, as what you put on your body. Now you don’t have to completely change your lifestyle in one day by any means but incorporating certain foods into your daily diet will help with your hair health as well as your skin health. I am a super picky eater but fortunately I love to eat meat so protein isn’t much of a problem for me however, I really need to work on eating more fruits and vegetables.... And the one food I probably need to give up is bread . It’s my #1 guilty pleasure. What are your favorite healthy foods?? https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/foods-for-hair-growth https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/foods-for-hair-growth
Nothing makes salon life better than having amazing co workers. I’m so thankful that through my career I’ve gotten to work with some pretty amazing women. I wouldn’t be the stylist I am today without their patience and willingness to share their knowledge with me. It takes a village. Especially with my stubborn, smart ass. Hair products are not a one size fits all. All 4 of these products are heat protectants but I use them on on different hair textures for different reasons. The Aquage and Ghost Oil I like on medium to coarse textures and the Paul Mitchell and Olaplex No. 7 for finer textures. Now that’s just my personal preference. There are many other great heat protectants out there but these are my go tos for in the salon. ... And just because it says it protects up to 450 degrees doesn’t mean your hot tools should be set at 450 degrees. You’re styling your hair not cooking a pizza . Do you use a heat protectant? What’s your favorite? And if you don’t then
If there is one thing I hate about the hair industry it’s the mantra Time Is Money. Yes, my time does cost money, however, I’m also not in a rush to get you in and out just to get to the next person either. It’s also why I don’t double book. I hate feeling rushed and I certainly do not want you feeling like you are being rushed. I do my very best to make sure I give your appointment the time it needs to make sure what you are wanting is done correctly. Not every service w...ill fit in the 2-3 hour box. Your hair is unique to you and so is the time allotted to make sure you love your service and the end result. Just to give you an idea, this color took 8 hours. If I didn’t love what I do, I wouldn’t be doing it.
Halloween is always so much fun for us and great time to get together with friends and family. I’m pretty easy to spot lol. The scarecrow and the Hulk and my boys. (My daughter was deer hunting) I want to see your Halloween pics so drop them below
Yellow has been the most high maintenance color I have ever had. I color my hair every two weeks . I have to wash my hair everyday because I’m oily so fashion colors don’t stand a chance. Yes I use a color safe shampoo but semi permanent colors are a beast of their own and require lots of TLC to make them last. I have tried dry shampoo but I am not a fan lol. What are one of your high maintenance quirks?? I won’t judge
